​Beacon is bringing 3 summer camps to Wise County! No experience is necessary. Register soon as there are limited spots available.

Broadway Basics:
Summer Kick Off Camp

Build confidence, learn stage skills,
​and have fun this summer.
Who: Ages 8–18 (no experience needed)
What: A fun and engaging week of theatre exploration designed to build confidence, creativity, and performance skills. Campers will explore:
  • Acting fundamentals
  • Singing and vocal technique
  • Movement and dance
  • Audition tips and stage presence
  • Theatre etiquette and terminology
  • Show-themed crafts and creative activities
  • Guided viewing of Broadway performances
When: May 26-29 @ 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Cost: $200 per student *Sibling Discount: Save $25 for each additional sibling (use code SIBLINGDISCOUNT at checkout)
What to Bring:
  • Sack lunch
  • Closed water bottle
  • Comfortable clothes to move in
  • Dance shoes (or closed-toe shoes)

Wizard of Oz Summer Camp

Who: All actors 18 and under
What: A full week of dancing, singing, and acting, to prepare for the upcoming production of Wizard of Oz.
Where: Beacon's Black Box (901 Halsell St, Bridgeport TX)
When: June 8-12 @ 10am-3pm
Cost: $300 per student - This fee covers the cost of camp & your production fee for the show. ($25 discount for each additional sibling-enter the code SIBLINGDISCOUNT when checking out).
More:
  • Bring a sack lunch, closed water bottle, dance shoes, and clothes you can move in.
  • We will be learning the songs & dances to Munchkinland, Munchkin Sequence, Yellow Brick Road, Poppies, Merry Old Land of Oz, March of the Winkies, Jitterbug, & Ding Dong the Witch is Dead. 
  • Anyone under 18, interested in attending camp, but not performing in the show are also welcome to join. 

Broadway Bootcamp: Level 2

Who: Ages 8-18
What:
Take your performance skills to the next level in this high-energy, confidence-building theatre camp. Campers will dive deeper into:
  • Acting and character development
  • Vocal performance and musicality
  • Dance and stage movement
  • Audition technique and mock auditions
  • Scene work and storytelling
  • Advanced theatre terminology and stage presence
  • Creative projects and performance-based activities
Throughout the week, campers will continue learning from real Broadway performances while applying those skills in a fun, supportive environment.
​When: July 6–10 @ 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
